Schlemmer: French Beaded Flowers
Robert will discuss the history, construction and arrangement of french beaded flowers. He will also stay after the lecture for extra demos. Bring your own french beaded flowers to discuss with Robert. He will critique them or help with any problems.
The Upper Midwest Bead Society meetings are held at the Textile Center 3000 University SE, Minneapolis MN 55414.
Monday meetings start at 7pm, but come as early as 5pm for open beading.

UMBS - Tote Bag Logo Contest
With the help of the Madison Bead Society we found a source for some great tote bags which convert to backpacks. We will be ordering these this summer. The bags have a side pocket where our name will be printed, but we need a logo or saying to go along with it. Since we have so many creative members, we've decided to have a contest. The person submitting the winning logo or saying will be awarded a free one year UMBS membership along with a tote bag. The imprint area is approximately 6"W x 4"H. Profit from the tote bag sales will go towards our 2009 20th Anniversary Celebration. Email your submission by the June 1, 2008 deadline. Good luck!
