Beaded Flower Demo by Alice Mendel

We will use the technique called continuous loop to make a small flower stem. Time permitting I will demonstrate a few of the other basic techniques.
Supplies for the flower stem pictured above
All size 10/o or 11/o Seed beads
14" flower beads on 28" of 26 or 24 gauge wire.
14" leaf beads on 28" of 26 or 24 gauge wire.
9 center beads on about 12" 32 gauge wire
Thin stem wire - ½ a stem
Green florist tape.
Please come to the meeting with the beads already strung on the wire. There will be a number of beadspinners available to speed your stringing if you are not able to string your beads before the meeting. I will have stem tape and stems for everyone to use. I will have size 10/o Taiwanese (craft quality) beads available at a nominal fee.
