Call for Beadwork: UMBS Fall Exhibition, October 2008
So you think you can bead? Show us!
It's our turn to put on an exhibit in the Textile Center Library and
let others see the beautiful work we've done.
• Open to UMBS members only. We encourage all members to submit items.
• You can submit as many items as you want, but the number of pieces actually exhibited will be determined by the available gallery space.
• No earrings will be accepted. But all other beaded items in the following categories are welcome:
◦ Wearables
◦ Sculpture
◦ Wall hangings
◦ Lampwork – single beads or suite
• To submit your items, fill out one entry form for each item (or related group, such as a suite of lampwork beads) and turn it in along with the items at the September meeting. If you can't come to the September meeting, contact Ruth Bernstein or another committee member (listed below) to make other arrangements. Copies of the entry form will be available at the August and September meetings or print your own using the link below.
• Exhibitors are responsible for insuring their own pieces. Although great care will be taken with all pieces, UMBS cannot be responsible for loss, breakage, or other mishaps.
• All items must remain on display until the end of the exhibition.
• Exhibitors will be notified how and when entries can be picked up after the show.
If you have questions, contact committee members Ruth Bernstein (651-771-0030, ruthbbernstein@att.net), Roxanne Hardy (651-426-3846), or Terry O’Neill (651-698-7441, toneill26@earthlink.net).
